P.S. to the last post -- What are your standards in life?

Did I mention that the ultimate standard is according to the word of God? :)

Here is what the Bible says from Psalm 119:9-11 NIV --

"How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.    I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.    I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you."

What are your standards in life?

Sweethearts, don't forget that the way you live life is based on the standards you've set for yourself.

For example, your standard for academic grades is 75. If you get a 75, you're satisfied, right? You won't strive harder since 75 is enough for you.

Imagine an archer. If he points his arrow straight to the bull's eye, he won't hit his mark, but somewhere lower due to the trajectory of the arrow. Similarly, if you aim for mediocracy, you will get mediocracy or even less than that. But if you aim for greatness, what is the worst that can happen? You get the bull's eye -- just right. Right?

So, what are your standards for life? For studies? For your work? For relationships? For finances? For character? Let's talk it over a cup of coffee shall we? :)
